The South Dakota Swimming, Inc. House of Delegates will meet at 12:30 p.m. CDT, Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the Cedar Shores Resort in Chamberlain.  This later start-time will allow Committee, Division, and Board Members to meet prior to the meeting.

To insure a quick and accurate roll call and proper seating of delegates, all attending will check in and receive a name tag at the door.

Swim Clubs:  Each club is entitled to one voting delegate.  Other club members are welcomed and encouraged to attend. 

1.    Check the list of SDSI Team Reps. If your club name is in red a new LSC Delegate Appointment Form is needed for one of the following reasons.  Those named in red may (a) now be voting as a Board Member, (b) no longer be with your club, or (c) need to register with USA Swimming for the 2008 season.

2.   Complete and return any 2008 Non-Athlete Registrations needed.  The application form is attached and is also on the SD website.  See here for an explanation of the Non-Athlete Membership Categories.

3.   Complete and return a LSC Delegate Appointment Form if a new Representative or Alternate needs to be named for your club.  You may e-mail this to me and turn in the hard copy at the Oct. 13 meeting.

4.   E-mail me, by Sept. 30, the name of the Delegate you have chosen to represent your club at the Oct. 13 meeting.

Board Members, Chairs, Coordinators & Committees: 

1.   Please e-mail me, by Sept. 30, agenda items and any reports you want distributed with the agenda.

2.   Please e-mail, by Sept. 30, so the Board of Directors can consider “any recommendations for action which would establish or change policies or programs for SDSI.” (607.5 .7)
